Zak has been labeled as a juvenile delinquent by all of the teachers and staff at his high school, but it was not always like that. He used to be a good student and was very active in school, especially in sports; his favorite sport to play was baseball. But his attitude started to change, his world was turned up side down when his parents decided to get a divorce after his dad was caught cheating on his mom. Anger at the situation and at his father started to build up within him and he finally exploded in the middle of a baseball game when the pitcher struck him out; he ran up to the pitcher and started to beat him with his bat. He was kicked out of that school and had charges pressed against him because of that random act of violence. Since then, he was put into a new high school, but was labeled a loose cannon. Instead of trying to defended his self or explain why he just lost it, he embraced his new status as being a rebellious teen and starts fights with other rival schools, bringing his new modified bat with him.
